As a set designer...

    One of the great joys of being a set designer is meeting extraordinary talented, ingenious and generous people.

    What brings someone to become a performing artist in itself is a mystery. But for all of us there is the same magic feeling when witnessing a show or the sparks in our eyes when the curtain goes up. For a moment our reality does not exist anymore as we are lifted from our chairs, removed from our bodies, traveling in an imaginary world, lead by a storyteller. Some of us have made this world our reality and a way of life: creating dreams for others.

    The recipe for a good show resides in its participants. Dream engineers are light and sound designers, costumes and set fabricators, actors, dancers, puppeteers, circus artists…

    Since 2006, I have been working with Terry and Emilio founders of “Arteuro” and have been based in south of France. Together we have designed social and artistic events to benefit our close community.
